Before flying

TRUST · Complete this short educational course. Carry proof of completion while flying.

FAA registration · Obtain your FAA registration.  $5 for three years.

Both club fields are FRIAs — FAA-Recognized Identification Areas, where you can fly without Remote ID equipment.

Details

One $5 registration covers your recreational aircraft for three years, not $5 per airplane. Registrants must be 13 or older; an older person can register for a younger flyer.

You and your aircraft must stay inside the FRIA boundary and in visual line of sight. Aircraft equipped with Remote ID must keep broadcasting.
